Description
Supervisor: Lift Operations Supervisor
Department: Lift Operations
Position Summary: Loads/unloads guests from chair lifts. Performs tasks to start-up and shut-down of lifts. Reports any out of the ordinary occurrences.
Job Relationships:
- Responsible To: Guests, Lift Operation Supervisor, Lift Maintenance, Operations Director
- Employees Supervised: None
- Inter-Relationships: Work closely with Lift Operation Supervisor, Ski Patrol, and Maintenance to better serve our guests
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Start-up and inspect lift at beginning of shift before Any Loading
- Clean and check chairs
- Assist riders on/off chair lift
- Maintains ramps and shovel snow
- Additional duties maybe assigned
- Understand and follow the “Lift Operations Guide”
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Certification: Completion and passing of Lift Operator training course
- Experience: None
- Other Requirements: Ability to relate in a positive manner to guests and co-workers
Environmental Factors:
- Frequent lifting of items weighing 60 Lbs. or more
- Exposure to possible hazards associated with machinery and moving equipment
- Will be exposed to severe weather while performing duties
- Sitting or standing for extended periods of time
- Guest facing position.
