Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Newark, DE, for an experienced Sprinkler Fitter. The Sprinkler Fitter will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing sprinkler systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include using hand tools, assembling and securing pipes, and installing life safety features to ensure fire protection systems meet safety standards. Collaborating with team members, interpreting blueprints, and adhering to safety regulations will be key aspects of the role.
Qualifications
- Experience working with Sprinkler Systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair
- Proficiency in using Hand Tools for installation and assembly
- Knowledge of Sprinkler functionality and system configurations
- Understanding of Life Safety standards and fire protection systems
- Experience in handling and assembling Pipes for fire protection systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and manuals
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Certification as a Sprinkler Fitter or equivalent relevant training is a plus
