Job Summary
Join our summer camp team as a Summer Camp Assistant and help create a fun, safe, and active environment for kids. Assist with sports, games, and recreational activities while supporting counselors and promoting teamwork, confidence, and social growth.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist counselors with daily camp activities and sports sessions
- Supervise children during games, meals, and transitions
- Organize and run sports, games, and other recreational activities
- Support campers with diverse abilities and learning styles
- Follow safety protocols and administer basic first aid if needed
- Encourage positive behavior, teamwork, and inclusivity
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working with children in camps, daycare, or tutoring
- Sports coaching or extracurricular activity experience is a plus
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication skills and teamwork
