We are seeking a dependable, hands-on **General Manager** to lead the daily operations of our growing food truck business.
### Compensation
**Guaranteed minimum annual total compensation of $60,000**, including hourly wages and eligible tips, subject to full-time employment and written terms and conditions.
### Responsibilities
* Oversee all food truck and commissary kitchen operations
* Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and manage employees
* Drive and operate the food truck at different locations
* Assist with food preparation, service, setup, and closing as needed
* Manage inventory, ordering, food costs, waste, and cash controls
* Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and health-department standards
* Handle customer service and resolve operational or staffing issues
* Monitor sales, labor, performance goals, and daily reports
* Ensure the truck is properly stocked, maintained, and ready for service
* Lead by example and step into any position when needed
### Requirements
* Previous restaurant, food-service, or hospitality management experience
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
* Reliable transportation and flexible availability
* Comfortable working evenings, weekends, holidays, and changing schedules
* Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 pounds
* Food-handler or food-safety certification, or willingness to obtain one
* Employment history, references, background, and driving record will be verified
This is a hands-on management position for someone who takes ownership, supports the team, and is comfortable managing every part of the operation.
