Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to ensure a high standard of cleanliness
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing clothes and linens with care and attention to detail
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing various flooring types to keep surfaces looking their best
- Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to sanitize kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas effectively
- Provide excellent customer service by respecting clients’ privacy and preferences while delivering top-quality cleaning services
- Manage custodial responsibilities such as waste disposal, replenishing supplies, and ensuring all areas meet health standards
- Assist with light cooking or meal prep if required, ensuring safety and hygiene protocols are followed in the kitchen
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or janitorial work; hotel or commercial cleaning experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and floor care procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, steam mops, and buffers confidently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic laundry skills including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal
- Familiarity with housekeeper management or supervisory roles is advantageous but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
