Compensation
$1,500–$3,000 per month (retainer)
or
$50–$65 per hour (limited/capped hours)

Position Overview
We are a newly forming home care agency in Charlotte, North Carolina seeking an experienced North Carolina-licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Contract Supervising RN / Director of Nursing (DON) during the startup and licensure phase.
This is a non-bedside leadership role with flexible, limited monthly hours — ideal for an RN seeking contract or supplemental income alongside full-time employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight in accordance with NC DHSR home care regulations
- Assist with development, review, and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
- Support agency licensure preparation and startup readiness
- Supervise nursing staff and aides as required by state regulations
- Provide ongoing clinical consultation and compliance guidance
- Participate in state survey preparation and response activities as needed
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Home care or home health experience preferred
- Prior supervisory, Clinical Manager, or Director of Nursing experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of clinical compliance, documentation, and regulatory standards
- Ability to work independently in a startup environment
