Position Summary:
The Franchise Operations Manager is a key leader in ensuring the success, consistency, and compliance of our franchise network. This role oversees franchisee compliance and documentation, manages and updates the Franchise Operations Manual, and leads cross-functional projects that improve efficiency and alignment across the system. Acting as a trusted partner to franchise owners and corporate leadership, the Franchise Operations Manager drives operational excellence and contributes directly to the growth and long-term success of CMIT Solutions.

CMIT Solutions LLC (CMIT) is a leading Managed Services Provider (MSP) franchisor delivering information technology (IT) and cybersecurity solutions to businesses. The company’s locally owned franchise model enables CMIT to serve customers through high-trust, direct relationships. This position is with the corporate franchisor, a private-equity backed organization supporting independently-owned franchises located throughout the United States and Canada.
What You’ll Do:
Compliance & Operational Support
- Achieve KPIs for on-time system sales reports and Certificates of Liability (COI).
- Review monthly franchisee sales reports to ensure accuracy and flag accounts for audits.
- Maintain documentation standards and develop compliance manuals, guidelines, and internal process documentation.
- Collaborate with legal counsel as needed to ensure compliance and protect the interests of the franchise network.
- Serve as the primary advocate and coordinator for the franchise resale program.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for franchisees and home office staff on compliance-related topics.
- Update and manage the Franchise Operations Manual as needed.
- Monitor operational processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and consistency across the franchise network.
- Act as a primary point of contact for franchisees regarding compliance inquiries, delivering timely and accurate guidance.
Project Management Responsibilities
- Lead and support cross-functional project initiatives, managing scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
- Partner with marketing, operations, service delivery, and franchise success teams to align initiatives with system goals.
- Track project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain timelines and quality standards.
- Support process improvement initiatives across the franchise network through structured, project-based strategies and execution.
Reporting & Communication
- Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on compliance and operational metrics.
- Keep the franchise network informed of regulatory updates, policy changes, and best practices through newsletters, webinars, and other communication channels.
- Other duties as assigned by the VP of Operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Compliance, or a related field (or equivalent experience/certification).
- Proven experience in franchise operations, compliance management, or related roles within the franchising industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate, interpret, and present reports.
- Demonstrated project management expertise, including managing timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in compliance processes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
