Key Responsibilities
- Setup and operate manual equipment (mills, lathes, surface and cylindrical grinders, drill presses) to machine metallic or composite parts to aerospace tolerances
- Interpret assembly drawings, GD&D specifications and blueprints, design, fabricate, and set customer fixtures and tooling
- Perform precise inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, CMMs, or optical comparators, ensuring part compliance
- Collaborate with engineering to refine machining methods, offer feedback on manufacturability, update control data
- Adhere to ISO AS9100 standards, ITAR protocols, PPE use, and logout/tagout
- Maintain clean and organized work areas; ensure proper use and care of equipment and tools
- Support continuous improvement activities related to machining processes and workflow
- Minimum High School Diploma or trade school
- Must be at least 18 years old and Authorized to work in the US
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must be able to stand majority of the shift
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
