Superintendent Job Responsibilities:
- Oversees daily operations at a construction site.
- Leads daily morning meetings with the entire crew.
- Follows construction drawings and approved plans.
- Uses ProCore to manage projects.
- Orders necessary equipment, tools, and materials.
- Helps to set and stick to the budget and schedule.
- Writes daily logs and other necessary documentation.
- Makes sure all local, state, and national business codes and regulations are followed.
- Ensures that the team adheres to all company policies and safety protocols.
- Works directly with the project manager, architect, and subcontractors in a positive manner.
Superintendent Qualifications and Skills:
- Demonstrates strong organization and problem-solving skills.
- Excels at motivating a team and has strong management skills.
- Experience with ProCore, required.
- Experience using Microsoft Office including word, excel and project.
- Experience working in Hospitals (Infection Control, Safety Protocols, etc.)
- Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, and sitting for long periods, and lifting 50 pounds.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- An associate’s or bachelor’s degree is desired.
- OSHA 10 required and OSHA 30 desired.
- CPR/First Aid certified desired.
- At least 3-5 years of construction experience is required.
