Job Summary
The referral coordinator provides support services to the providers and staff to ensure continuity of patient care by assisting with follow-up and referral scheduling, as well as coordinating insurance coverage via prior authorization when needed.
Requirements: Minimum one (1) year experience in healthcare setting. Understanding of basic medical terminology. High school or GED required. Knowledge of basic functions of personal computer and word processing skills required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Requires ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff.
Wage
Depending on your work experience, you could earn a wage from $20.31 to $27.42 per hour.
