Weekend CNC Lead Machinist

Key Responsibilities
- Interpret complex aerospace blueprints and operation sheets using your expertise in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Set up and operate advanced CNC multi-axis mills with precision and efficiency, meeting tight aerospace tolerances.
- Conduct in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, micro height gauges, and dial indicators to ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards.
- Accurately document inspection results and key dimensions in our ERP system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining or tooling issues to maintain seamless aerospace production flow.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and uphold machine reliability.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and AS9100-compliant work area while following all safety and quality protocols.
What You Bring to the Team
- High school diploma or equivalent education required.
- 5-8 years of CNC machining experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing, including set-up and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of aerospace quality requirements and documentation practices.
- Experience with Fanuc and Siemens controls highly preferred.
- CAM Software experience highly preferred.
- Lean Manufacturing background is a plus.
- Team-oriented attitude with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in basic PC applications (Windows, Outlook, Excel).
