We’re seeking an experienced Lead CNC Mill Machinist to set up and run advanced multi-axis turning and/or milling machines, playing a vital role in the production of mission-critical aerospace parts.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret complex aerospace blueprints and operation sheets using your expertise in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Set up and operate advanced CNC multi-axis mills with precision and efficiency, meeting tight aerospace tolerances.
• Conduct in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, micro height gauges, and dial indicators to ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards.
• Accurately document inspection results and key dimensions in our ERP system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining or tooling issues to maintain seamless aerospace production flow.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and uphold machine reliability.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and AS9100-compliant work area while following all safety and quality protocols.

What You Bring to the Team

• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• 5-8 years of CNC machining experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing, including set-up and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of aerospace quality requirements and documentation practices.
• Experience with Fanuc and Siemens controls highly preferred.
• CAM Software experience highly preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing background is a plus.
• Team-oriented attitude with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in basic PC applications (Windows, Outlook, Excel).
