Position: Administrative Assistant- Building Wire
Location: Suwanee, GA 30024
Job Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
Work Location: In person
Responsibilities
- Enters customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently
- Assist with compiling daily, monthly, and quarterly sales reports, including CU Open/Close, PO reports, B2B updates, and progress summaries.
- Communicate and coordinate between 5 warehouse locations as needed.
- Outbound calls to existing customers to confirm discrepancies on purchase orders. Estimates and secure dates of delivery to customer, based on production schedule knowledge and current stock availability.
- Post Sales Activities: Gathering QA documentation (test reports, certificates of compliance and certificates of origin), submittal of packing slips, tracking information, delivery requirements and proof of deliveries.
- Investigates and resolves customer problems (RGAs) with production, packaging, length tolerances, and delivery.
- Ensure accuracy in orders, document discrepancies, and contact customers to resolve issues.
- Monitor backorders and arrange split shipments as needed.
Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with EDI systems and resolving system errors.
- 2 years of experience in order processing, logistics, or sales operations.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills for handling customer inquiries and discrepancies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for reporting and data management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle daily tasks and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with RMA processes and claims management is a plus.
