CME’s Direct to Site (DTS) delivery and installation team is looking to add an experienced Service Center Manager to perform and oversee all warehousing related activities in our Duluth, GA Service Center. This is a hands-on position that will be responsible for all aspects of warehousing and inventory management, as well as the staging and oversight of DTS delivery and installation services of medical equipment out of the Duluth Service Center. This position will play a key role in meeting CME’s goal of consistently providing an exceptional experience to our customers. This role reports to the Distribution Operations Program Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Perform warehousing duties in compliance with company’s policies
- Oversee and perform all aspects of receiving, warehousing and DTS staging operations
- Direct Management of warehouse team members.
- Direct Supervision of DTS team members.
- Inspect, accept, or reject received shipments.
- Data entry of receiving/shipping info into company’s warehouse and inventory system
- Regular communication with the Project Management and DTS team to schedule and coordinate product picking and staging for DTS deliveries and installations.
- Equipment assembly and staging work within CME’s warehouse.
- Coordinating inventory within the warehouse and ensuring delivery deadlines are met.
- Maintain frequent communication with internal departments.
- Quality control and accuracy of inventory moving in and out of the warehouse utilizing warehouse management systems.
- Prepare for and perform annual physical inventory.
- Responsible for building maintenance, upkeep, and alarm response.
- Follows and executes company safety directives.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience working in a warehousing environment at a supervisory or managerial level.
- Associate’s / Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field or combination of education and work experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with all levels of employees and management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in working within a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Experience using Microsoft Suit products (experience in Excel and Outlook)
- Healthcare supply chain experience a plus
- Ability to have flexible hours as the conditions dictate
- Must be physically fit and lift up to 75lbs
- Must have good mechanical aptitude and be very familiar with warehouse equipment as well as general hand and power tools
