What You'll Do
- Promote safe work environments through example; good housekeeping & effective safety meetings
- Pian out production for most efficient process
- Ensure forklift and crane reports are completed each shift
- Utilize improvement projects that increase the departments functionality
- Analyze, treat & establish counter measures for failures
- Plan maintenance work as well as work routinely with vendors
- Monitor daily staffing needs and communicate with other employees to fill in vacancies to maintain operations
- Plan and attend required staffing and safety meetings
- Planning of future budgets
- Hold Performance Reviews with employees and/or give feedback on employees performance
- Actively participate and assist in leading team with CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture (Take 2, Observation Cards and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
- Leading effective crew meetings at start of shift. Include any safety, quality or production communications applicable.
- Drive results with team members through accountability and performance feedback
- Foster positive employee relations in order to attract, develop and retain high performance teams—focused on employee engagement, leadership development, performance alignment to CMC objectives, and change management for accountability.
- Plan out production for most efficient process of production line
What You'll Need
- Minimum 5 years of Refractory Experience
- Experience in Inventory Control
- Proficient in MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Data entry in SAP/QMOS experience
- Ability to track, chart, and improve processes
- Demonstrated leadership, team-building and people-development skills
Your Education
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
