What You'll Do
- Responsible for day-to-day transactions such as processing new hires and employee data changes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of information entered in the system
- Ensure positive employee relations and build the CMC culture based on our Guiding Principles
- Responsible for new employee orientations
- Oversee implementation of CMC programs to comply with various governmental regulations dealing with EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA and other related Federal & State laws
- Assist with investigations and formulate responses to government, legal or internally reported employee relations charges
- Understand and educate employees regarding CMC's benefits, including support of the annual enrollment process
- Identify and communicate general issues and concerns to the HR Manager and participate in solving such issues
- Ensure consistent CMC policy implementation
- Perform other related HR or administrative duties as required
What You'll Need
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a Generalist role
- Knowledge of Human Resources field, including recruiting, employee relations, benefits, training, and compensation required
- Knowledge of EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, Workers Compensation, DOL, E-Verify, and other related Federal & State laws required
- Ability to work a schedule outside of normal business hours as needed to support a 24/7 operation
- Strong client facing skills with a consultative mindset and ability to effectively problem solve
- Proficient in MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Your Education
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related field required
