Junior Project Scheduler

CMC Project Solutions is seeking a Junior Primavera P6 Scheduler to support construction activities at a major theme park and entertainment destination in the Los Angeles, California area.

This role is ideal for early-career professionals who are eager to grow their scheduling skills in a fast-paced construction environment. You will work closely with experienced project teams to help develop, maintain, and update project schedules that support successful delivery of large-scale entertainment and hospitality construction projects.

This position has an immediate need and is expected to start as soon as possible. The role is fully onsite.

Compensation: $45 to $70 per hour (W2), depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, maintaining, and updating Primavera P6 project schedules under the guidance of senior schedulers and project controls staff.
• Support critical path and schedule performance analysis.
• Help identify potential schedule risks and contribute to mitigation discussions.
• Prepare schedule updates, progress reports, and supporting documentation for project leadership.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and other stakeholders as directed.
• Support schedule recovery planning and forecasting activities.
• Participate in project planning and schedule review meetings.

Required Qualifications

• Basic to intermediate proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6 (coursework, internships, or 1–3 years of hands-on experience preferred).
• Foundational understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced project environment.
• Willingness to work fully onsite.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior exposure to construction scheduling (theme park, hospitality, commercial, or infrastructure projects a plus).
• Experience supporting multi-disciplinary construction teams.
• Degree or coursework in construction management, engineering, project controls, or a related field.
• Internship or entry-level experience with a general contractor, owner, or project controls firm.

Work Environment

• Fully onsite at a major theme park and entertainment construction project in the Los Angeles, California area.
• Candidates local to the Los Angeles region or willing to relocate are preferred.
• This is a W2 employee position.
