Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in collecting blood samples from patients and ensuring their safe transport to the laboratory. Duties:
- Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples from patients
- Utilize aseptic technique to ensure the safety and integrity of collected specimens
- Label and properly package specimens for transport to the laboratory
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and specimen collection
- Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and infection control measures
- Assist with other tasks as needed, such as taking vital signs or providing basic patient care
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
- Proficient in venipuncture techniques and blood sampling procedures
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately record patient information
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
