Role Summary The North America Institutional team builds relationships with sophisticated U.S.- and Canada-based institutions to generate new business and retain clients. The Associate – NAI will support the North America Institutional team and its sales and retention efforts. They will collaborate with team members and key business partners to prepare for meetings, roadshows, and conferences, as well as fulfill requests and maintain accurate records. They will collaborate with colleagues across the firm including the presentation, investment reporting, competitive analysis, Client Portfolio Managers and RFP teams. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the financial services industry and demonstrated the ability to develop collaborative relationships internally. In addition to exhibiting the firm’s Winning Behaviors, members of the NAI associate team are expected to be hungry, proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and invested in the team’s success. This hybrid position will be based out of our Kansas City office. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. How You Will Make an Impact Help drive asset growth and retain clients Prepare for meetings by helping with presentations, prep sheets and investment professional requests. Work with business partners to complete requests for data and qualitative information. Prepare for conferences and roadshows, including gathering and delivering information to vendors, tracking meetings and coordinating with business partners. Maintain accurate information in Salesforce and the Traffic Light system. Submitting due diligence requests and RFPs and following up on them. Adhere to processes and protocols but seek opportunities for operational improvement to build efficiencies. Build strong relationships across the firm. What You Bring to the Team (Required) Bachelor's degree in business or finance or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Minimum three years' financial industry experience. Must have Series 7 and 63 licenses or obtain within six months. Proficiency with Microsoft applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with Salesforce is helpful. Self motivated, detailed, organized, team player, strong interpersonal and communication skills, professionally mature, sound decision-making skills, growth mindset.
