Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other commercial vehicles.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual methods, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo.
- Drive assigned routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, maintenance needs, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports to track shipments and vehicle usage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Assist with the setup of specialized loads such as refrigerated goods or tanker shipments when necessary.
Experience
- Proven experience in truck driving or commercial driving roles with a focus on freight delivery.
- Familiarity with operating different types of trucks including manual transmission vehicles, flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
- Prior experience in load & unload operations and route driving is highly desirable.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type; specific endorsements such as tanker or flatbed are a plus.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to freight handling and vehicle operation.

Pay: $23.42 - $28.20 per hour
