The Role
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our clients' HVAC systems. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for hands-on work and a desire to grow in the HVAC industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, lubricating parts, and inspecting electrical components.
- Assist senior technicians in diagnosing and repairing HVAC system issues.
- Document maintenance activities and report findings to senior technicians or supervisors.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional conduct with clients.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be 22 years of age or older to meet vehicle operation and insurance requirements.
- Driving Record: Must pass an MVR screening and maintain a good driving record.
- Certifications: EPA certification is required. (HVAC technical training or additional certification is a plus) .
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in the HVAC industry as an apprentice or maintenance tech.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and proficiency in using smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices.
- Physical: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis and work in varying/extreme temperatures.
Schedule & Environment
- Status: Full-Time.
- Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday 7AM-3PM
- Availability: Must be available to work nights and weekends on a rotating basis to service the emergency needs of our customers.
- Safety: The work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and unusual elements (fumes, dirt, loud noises) requiring extensive safety precautions.
