Journeyman Electrician
CM Electrical Solutions is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team.
A valid Journeyman Electrician license is required for this position.
We work on residential, commercial, and light industrial projects throughout Hardin County and Elizabethtown.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, motivated, professional, takes pride in their work, and is capable of working independently and leading projects when required.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems
- Perform electrical work on residential, commercial, and light industrial projects
- Lead and manage electrical projects independently when required
- Coordinate daily jobsite activities and ensure work is completed correctly and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, specifications, and jobsite drawings
- Install and bend conduit, including EMT and PVC
- Pull, route, terminate, and identify conductors
- Install and terminate electrical panels, services, lighting, receptacles, switches, and other electrical equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits and properly use electrical testing equipment
- Perform work in accordance with applicable NEC requirements and jobsite safety standards
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and other team members
- Work independently and efficiently with limited supervision when required
Requirements
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license or higher — REQUIRED
- Must be capable of independently leading and completing electrical projects from start to finish
- Ability to coordinate work, make field decisions, and keep projects moving efficiently
- Previous hands-on electrical field experience
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to perform electrical work independently with limited supervision
- Experience bending and installing conduit
- Experience pulling wire and making proper electrical terminations
- Experience with electrical services, panels, branch circuits, lighting, and troubleshooting
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Professional attitude and communication skills
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Commitment to quality workmanship and jobsite safety
