Licensing & Compliance Assistant Consultant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Licensing & Compliance Assistant Consultant to join our South Florida consulting team. Our office specializes in assisting restaurants, liquor stores, distributors, warehouses, and other hospitality businesses navigate the complex licensing and regulatory requirements necessary to establish and operate successfully.
The ideal candidate will work directly with business owners, contractors, architects, government agencies, and regulatory authorities to coordinate licensing, permitting, and compliance from project inception through final approval. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring all regulatory requirements are met at the federal, state, county, and municipal levels.

Responsibilities
- Prepare, submit, and manage licensing applications and recurring compliance reports.
- Manage monthly reporting requirements for licensed alcohol distributors and warehouse operations.
- Prepare and submit business registration and licensing applications for establishments engaged in the sale of alcoholic beverages.
- Coordinate permitting processes with municipal governments throughout South Florida.
- Communicate with architects, engineers, contractors, landlords, inspectors, and government officials to facilitate project approvals.
- Maintain accurate client records, licensing documentation, and compliance deadlines.
- Provide ongoing guidance to clients throughout the business startup and licensing process.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Public Administration, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Strong Bilingual (English and Spanish) written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
- Experience working with confidential business documentation.

What You'll Do
As a Licensing & Compliance Assistant Consultant, you will serve as the primary liaison between our clients and regulatory agencies, guiding businesses through every stage of the licensing and permitting process. From obtaining alcohol licenses and federal approvals to coordinating municipal permits and occupancy certifications, you will play a vital role in helping new and expanding businesses successfully open and remain compliant throughout South Florida.
Your work will directly support entrepreneurs, restaurant owners, hospitality groups, retailers, distributors, and developers by simplifying complex regulatory processes and ensuring projects move efficiently from concept to opening.
Pay: $600.00 - $800.00 per week
