What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Stack Developer (Early Engineer) - Stealth Automotive AI StartUp position at Clyde Street Capital?
We’re backing a stealth automotive technology AI venture that’s reinventing how drivers, dealerships, and OEMs buy, sell, and service vehicles. Our portfolio company is building a modern, AI-powered platform for one of the largest, most underserved industries in the world. We’re early. We’re moving fast. And we’re looking for a full-stack engineer who thrives in 0→1 environments and wants to own meaningful pieces of the product.
What You’ll Do:
- Own large parts of the product across frontend, backend, and infra
- Build scalable APIs, data pipelines, and real-time AI integrations
- Develop clean, intuitive React/Next.js interfaces
- Translate rough concepts into shippable features with tight feedback loops
- Influence technical strategy, architecture, and engineering culture
- Move fast, iterate often, and help shape the foundation of the company

React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, Node.js, Python, MongoDB, Postgres, AWS, Vercel, OpenAI/LLM tools, Stripe, Telnyx.
If you’ve built with similar modern frameworks — or have strong views on better ones — we’re interested.

- Interested in growing into a technical leadership role as we scale
