Job Overview
As a Team Member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience. You will be responsible for various tasks including food preparation, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant environment. Duties
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing customer concerns promptly.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including dining areas, kitchen equipment, and utensils.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure safe food handling practices are adhered to at all times.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining environment for guests.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and register operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus.
- Culinary experience or kitchen experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and register operations are required.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential.
