What are the responsibilities and job description for the AML & Sanctions Analyst position at Clyde & Co?
The Role
Working Pattern: The BAU provides a business-critical service which offers global coverage. Your regularly scheduled hours will be from 9:00 am CST to 5:00 pm CST, Monday through Friday. As a nonexempt employee, you will work this shift with a daily one-hour lunch break. Your hours may be variable and subject to change, however, based on department need and the current state of global staffing. Overtime will also be required as needed to meet firm expectations of department turnaround. This will be based on overall volume of work incoming to the department and whether a backlog has developed. The Role: You will primarily be responsible for ensuring the firm’s new clients are onboarded in compliance with Clyde & Co’s Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies and procedures. These policies and procedures are based on the United Kingdom’s Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) regulations. These new clients are generated via the existing partnership’s day to day new business intake and via lateral hires and acquisitions. You will also be responsible for ongoing client monitoring and refreshing AML for existing clients as well as other risk management tasks as needed.

The global BAU Team consists of Team Leaders; Managers and Senior Managers; regional and global Head; Analysts and Senior Analysts; Assistants; and Paralegals.
