As a Content Specialist, you’ll play a vital hands-on role in supporting our clients through emotionally significant transitions such as downsizing, moving, or preparing a loved one’s home for sale, or closing an estate. Under the direction of the On-Site Manager and alongside a compassionate, professional on-site team, you’ll help bring order, dignity, and peace of mind to the people we serve.

Your On-Site Manager oversees the on-site team, ensuring that all members are aligned with the project's objectives and are performing their tasks efficiently. Regular quality control checks are conducted to maintain high standards of service delivery. By fulfilling your duties, you not only ensure client satisfaction but also upholds Clutter Cleaner’s reputation for excellence in service.

Key responsibilities

Client & Project Support

  • Assist with downsizing, sorting, organizing, and decluttering client homes.
  • Help pack for moves or prepare homes for listing and sale.
  • Deliver or pick up items from donation centers, storage units, or local stores.
  • Participate in unpacking and resettling clients into new homes, including organizing items and hanging artwork.
  • Provide continued post-move support to help clients feel fully settled.

Communication & Team Collaboration

  • Maintain respectful, clear, and compassionate communication with clients at all times.
  • Ask for clarification from the On-Site Manager when client preferences or decisions (keep/donate/toss) are unclear.
  • Inform the On-Site Manager of any client concerns or challenges promptly.
  • Work as a cooperative team member by staying aligned with project goals and manager expectations.

  • Adapt to different project types, team leadership styles, and evolving client needs with grace and flexibility.
  • Maintain a calm, quiet presence in the client’s home—respecting the emotional nature of our work.
  • Follow Clutter Cleaner’s professional dress code as directed by your manager.
  • Foster a respectful, non-judgmental, and efficient workspace for both the client and your colleagues.

By fulfilling these responsibilities, the CS helps to ensure that each project is executed efficiently, meets client expectations, and upholds Clutter Cleaners' commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

Experience and Education: Experience or interest in organizing, moving, staging or real estate (professional experience not required – training provided)

Technical Proficiency: Ability to navigate our online calendar and communication systems. (Training provided).

Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities to interact effectively with managers, clients, and other team members.

Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances as needed. Ability to take direction and work independently when needed.

Professionalism and Respect: Consistent demonstration of a positive attitude, setting a constructive tone for all staff. Respectful interactions with clients, staff, vendors, and movers, maintaining professionalism in all dealings.

Environmental and Emotional Awareness: Commitment to contributing to a calm work environment by minimizing chaos and confusion. Empathetic and respectful demeanor; comfortable in emotionally sensitive settings.

Availability: Available during weekdays on a flexible and part-time basis. Occasional evenings and weekends could be needed. Can decline job assignments.

Physical requirements

The job is physically demanding, in that you will be on your feet for long periods of time, carrying and lifting items while packing, making up boxes, filling trash bags, bending and reaching.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
