Senior Event Manager (Experiential)

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

Rate: $40-55/hr (w2) DOE

Clutch is looking for a Senior Event Manager with experiential agency experience for a client of ours.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive event strategy aligned with company goals. This includes defining event objectives, target audiences, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Create, manage, and track event budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and a strong return on investment (ROI). Secure and negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and suppliers.
• Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual (A/V) production, transportation, and accommodation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, sponsors, speakers, and internal teams to ensure seamless collaboration and successful event delivery.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns, create event collateral, and manage event registration platforms.
• Manage all on-site event activities, including setup, registration, vendor coordination, and troubleshooting to ensure a smooth and professional experience for all attendees.
• Conduct thorough post-event evaluations, analyze data and prepare reports to measure event success.
• Proactively identify potential risks and challenges and develop contingency plans to ensure event success under various circumstances.
• Work closely with various internal departments, including marketing, and executive leadership, to ensure event goals are met, and communication is clear.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Event Manager or in a similar role in an experiential agency setting required (8 years)
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Previous experience with events, trade shows, life productions, corporate experiences.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
• Proficiency in event management software and project management tools.
• Ability to be full-time, on-site for the event execution in FL: 1/31 through 2/5 (est.)
• Available in Nov, Dec, Jan for part-time pre-production.
