The Senior Project Scheduler acts as the subject-matter expert in project specific schedule development, analysis, and reporting for all projects assigned. - Performs in-depth analyses and provides written corrective course of actions with findings.
- Builds consensus on sequencing and milestones while maintaining schedule credibility and transparency.
- Effectively communicates complex scheduling logic, impacts, and delays to technical and non-technical partners.
- Actively evaluates project scheduling practices to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Integrates construction knowledge and emerging scheduling practices (e.g., BIM integration, 4D modeling) into schedule development and analysis.
- Identifies inconsistencies or unrealistic sequences and collaborates with project leadership to resolve them.
- Builds comprehensive reporting packages (Variance, Performance, Forecasting) and integrate data from multiple platforms.
- Advises on potential impacts to cost and resources through analyzation of recovery and mitigation schedule changes.
- Integrates logic maps, phase graphics, and milestone roadmaps into project presentations.
- Balances level of detail (LOD) with manageability and ensures the schedule represents an executable plan.
- Coaches schedulers on analytical methods and interpretation of results.
- Has a comprehensive understanding of Clune's project scheduling software, including the updating and reporting of project schedules.
- Evaluates delays, logic changes, and resource constraints to forecast impacts.
- Leads collaboration between operations, design, and trade partners to develop realistic, integrated schedules.
- Clearly explains causes, effects, and mitigation options to project and client stakeholders.
- Pilots process enhancements or new tools and provide structured feedback to management.
- Has foundational understanding of relevant local regulations and industry standards.
- Advises project teams on industry best practices.
- Maintains strong understanding of construction means and methods, sequencing, and field operations.
- Displays problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Ensures schedule quality through proactive validation and scenario testing. Balances technical correctness with constructability.
- Is comfortable integrating schedule data with progress tracking tools. Ensures clarity and accuracy in reports shared with project and client teams.
- Leads the schedule recovery process at the project level.
- Translates complex schedule data into easy-to-understand visuals for diverse audiences, including clients and field teams.
- Leads the schedule development process in collaboration with project management and field operations.
- Coaches schedulers on how to manage feedback and balance stakeholder input.
- Leverages additional software/tools to improve productivity and communication. Takes part of emerging software trials and training sessions.
- Apply multiple technologies to enhance project planning and visibility. Integrates data between scheduling platforms and other systems (Power BI, Procore, BIM tools).
- Exhibits exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills required. Must have the ability to relate and interact with higher-end clientele.
- This role may have supervisory responsibilities over Assistant Project Schedulers and Project Schedulers and will have training and mentoring assignments.

Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering is preferred, but strong work experience will be considered.
- Minimum 8 years of commercial construction experience with 3-5 years scheduling experience.
- Solid background in construction trades and technical knowledge.
- Proficiency with scheduling software including P6, Microsoft Project (Microsoft Office Products), and/or Phoenix PM. Experience working with BIM/VDC teams on 4D and 5D schedules is a plus.
- Regular workdays and hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30AM - 4:30PM.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear; climb stairs and/or ladders and walk on uneven ground.
- This position will commute locally to an office or project site with occasional regional travel.
