About us
We are a private practice, located in Heath, Texas, providing speech therapy and occupational therapy to children! We are looking to add another SLP to our team. You will see pediatric patients who have wonderful caregiver support for one-on-one speech therapy sessions. We do our best to ensure therapists are happy and feel supported, so they can then give their best to their patients.

Clubhouse Pediatric Therapy is a place for children of all abilities, their families and pediatric therapists to come together in love and support for one another. We prioritize working with the family as a whole, allowing parents to be involved in the therapy process and providing them with education and knowledge so they feel confident in helping their children at home. We look at things from a holistic perspective, and enjoy collaborating with any other providers involved with our patients, both within and outside of the clinic. We specialize in providing evidence-based intervention, never ending praise, and nurturing children’s strengths to help them achieve their full abilities. Requirements
- Current, unencumbered, active SLPA license to practice as a speech language pathologist assistant in the state of Texas
- One year of experience with pediatrics preferred
- CPR certification

- Experience in outpatient and/or private practice
- Bilingual preferred but not required

Job Duties
- Able to safely complete all physical tasks involved in working with children and handling equipment
- Implement evidence-based and individualized speech therapy
- Punctual documentation for all daily notes, progress reports, discharge summaries, etc
- Welcome families to participate in the therapy process and attend sessions.
- Communicate during or at the end of every session with caregivers, providing education and recommendations for home program
- Create materials as needed for carryover of skills into the home setting
- Collaborate with other providers involved in child’s care when appropriate
- Participate in staff development training and interdisciplinary meetings
- Help write social media posts occasionally (1-2x/month) with insight into the world of ST!
- Be comfortable with having pictures or short videos taken with patients for our social media
