Irrigation Project Manager

Duties

• Lead the planning, execution, and completion of irrigation projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project workflows
• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to ensure timely delivery
• Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to verify design accuracy and compliance with specifications
• Manage contracts and procurement processes, including construction estimating and cost control using HeavyBid or comparable tools
• Oversee construction site activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed and quality standards are maintained
• Utilize Civil 3D for site layout planning and schematics development to optimize irrigation system design
• Monitor project progress through regular site visits, progress reports, and updates in construction management software
• Ensure effective communication of project milestones and issues through detailed documentation and project coordination meetings
• Implement best practices in time management to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of work

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction management with a focus on irrigation or related civil infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating, project scheduling (Primavera P6), and construction management software tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Civil 3D
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Familiarity with contracts administration and project documentation processes
• Hands-on experience with construction site activities including installation of irrigation systems or similar infrastructure
• Excellent project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively
• Strong understanding of project management principles within the construction industry
• Effective time management skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation or site safety protocols is a plus

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
