Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person, one-on-one tutoring sessions with individually
- Develop and implement personalized activity-based and other grade-level appropriate learning lesson plans
- Communicate progress and goals with parents
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment
- Passion for teaching and engaging with younger students
- Strong knowledge of early elementary education subjects, particularly foundational ELA, reading fluency, phonics, and numeracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience with younger students preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
- Experience in tutoring or teaching elementary school-age children a plus
