Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Math Tutor located in Woodbridge, VA. The Math Tutor will be responsible for providing personalized tutoring sessions in students' homes or other approved locations. Day-to-day tasks include assessing student needs, developing individualized lesson plans, and providing instruction in high school level mathematics topics. The tutor will help students improve their academic performance and build their confidence.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of high school level Math
- Experience in Tutoring
- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to work one-on-one with students and develop individualized lesson plans
- Relevant educational background, preferably with a degree in Mathematics or a related field
- Capability to work on-site in Woodbridge, VA
- Prior experience in educational settings is a plus
- Passion for teaching and helping students succeed
