Role Description
This is a Seasonal, on-site role located in Temecula, CA, for a Camp Site Director with Club SciKidz. The Camp Site Director will oversee daily summer camp operations, including managing schedules, supervising camp staff, ensuring the well-being of campers, and maintaining a safe and engaging environment. Key responsibilities include facilitating structured STEM activities, supporting staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and communicating with parents and caregivers. Additionally, the Site Director will assist with setup and breakdown of classrooms and materials and act as the primary point of contact at the camp site.
Qualifications
- Experience in leading camps and managing camp operations effectively
- Outstanding communication skills for working with parents, staff, and community partners
- Background in youth development and proven experience working with children
- Strong customer service skills and an ability to create a welcoming environment
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in STEM fields or education is a plus
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred but not mandatory
- Availability to work flexible hours during the summer months, including some setup and training days
