The Sales Associate is responsible for driving membership growth through lead generation, prospect follow-up, in-studio tours, and community outreach. The Sales Representative plays a key role in creating a welcoming, high-energy studio environment while consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Lead Management
- Generate new membership sales through referrals, grassroots marketing, community partnerships, and outreach efforts
- Execute the full sales process including lead follow-up, studio tours, needs-based selling, and closing
- Manage leads in CRM system and maintain accurate records
- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance metrics
- Conduct membership presentations that clearly communicate the value of Pilates and our studio community
Customer Experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service from first interaction through membership onboarding
- Build strong relationships with members to encourage retention and referrals
- Assist with member concerns and direct issues appropriately to management
- Maintain a positive and professional studio presence at all times
Grassroots & Marketing Support
- Participate in community events, local business partnerships, and pop-ups to generate new leads
- Assist with social media engagement and local marketing initiatives
- Support promotional campaigns and studio events
Studio Operations
- Maintain studio cleanliness and organization
- Assist with front desk responsibilities including check-in, phone calls, and scheduling
- Support studio management with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- 1 year of sales experience (fitness or membership-based sales preferred)
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable initiating conversations and building rapport
- Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Passion for health, fitness, and wellness
