Position Summary
Club Ohio East is seeking a passionate, driven, and experienced soccer professional to serve as our Girls Program Lead. This key leadership role is responsible for building, managing, and growing a high-quality, competitive girls’ soccer program from the ground up. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the Club Director, Director of Coaching, 7v7/9v9 Format Manager, and Technical Trainer to deliver an exceptional player development experience while significantly increasing participation and program visibility in the East Ohio market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall strategy, development, and daily operations of the Club Ohio East Girls program across all age groups.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Coaching and Technical Trainer to implement a consistent, age-appropriate curriculum and playing philosophy.
- Partner with the 7v7 and 9v9 Format Manager to ensure seamless integration and player progression through the club’s smaller-sided formats.
- Recruit, hire, train, and mentor high-quality girls’ team coaches and staff.
- Drive player recruitment and retention through community outreach, school partnerships, camps, clinics, and identification events.
- Oversee team formation, scheduling, tournament selection, and player pathway development.
- Monitor and evaluate program quality, coach performance, and player development outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with players, parents, and the local soccer community to enhance club reputation and loyalty.
- Work with club leadership to meet enrollment targets and program growth objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all US Soccer, league, and club policies, including safe sport and risk management standards.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in youth soccer coaching, preferably with girls’ teams.
- Proven track record of successfully developing players and building or growing soccer programs.
- US Soccer coaching license (minimum “D” license or higher; “C” or “B” preferred).
- Strong understanding of player development best practices across multiple age groups.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Passion for girls’ soccer and commitment to creating a positive, inclusive environment.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in the Ohio soccer market.
- Experience recruiting and retaining players and coaches in a competitive club environment.
- Connections within the local Ohio soccer community (coaches, referees, schools, and organizations).
Pay: $30,000.00 - $55,648.05 per year
