Club K-9 at The Ranch is looking for a part-time handler to join our team. We are a small business that operates in Frankfort, IL. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to take their love of animals to the next level.
Job Description
The Handler will be responsible for the health and well-being of our animals. They will monitor their behavior and provide appropriate care to ensure the safety of all animals in their care as well as their coworkers.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective handling of animals in a safe, ethical, and positive manner
- Handle and care for animals in a timely manner that maintains animal comfort and safety
- Work with other team members to ensure quality care for our animals
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure, maintain a high level of physicality and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Work as part of a team to ensure quality care for our animals
- Maintain positive communication with colleagues, animal owners, and management
- Attend required meetings and training sessions as needed
- Administering feedings and medications accurately according to the schedule provided to us by the owners
- Managing our online booking and phone systems
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
