What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Technician position at Club Elite and Club Fitness?

- Travel to pre-determined locations within a geographical region.
- Manage a daily routine of service calls, perform repairs from service calls, perform repairs adhering to all performance protocols, and address emergencies as assigned.
- Duties will include maintenance, research, and troubleshooting of essential electrical components, basic plumbing, drywall patch & paint, and general building maintenance tasks.
- High attention to detail.
- Perform other duties as assigned, with the ability to perform professionally in a fast-paced environment. Complete reports and computer work daily for assigned tasks.
- Duties will include physical effort, to include lifting to a minimum of 50lbs. Bending, squatting, reaching, standing for extended periods, and using ladders and extension ladders with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Actively assists the team in the completion of goals, cost savings, and is accountable for actions and results regarding the maintenance of facility and equipment repairs within assigned region.
- Leaves club with equipment in working condition and communicates appropriately.
Qualifications:
- Required High School Diploma or equivalency.
- Required to maintain a valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and a clean DMV report.
- Required electronic and mechanical trouble shooting skills.
- Knowledge of, and experience with, all tools, equipment, and material used for repairs is required.
- Ability to understand technical documents required.
- Trade school certification preferred.
- 10 Years of experience in building maintenance.
