Position Summary
Club Chalet of Gatlinburg is seeking a dynamic, hands-on Property Manager to oversee all aspects of resort operations. This individual will provide leadership for the resort team, ensure excellent owner and guest satisfaction, maintain the property's facilities, and work closely with the Board of Directors to achieve operational and financial goals.
The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a background in property management, hospitality, resort operations, or a similar environment who thrives in a customer-focused setting.
Responsibilities
Oversee all day-to-day resort operations.
Lead, supervise, and develop a team including office staff, housekeeping, and maintenance personnel.
Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
Deliver exceptional customer service to owners and guests.
Prepare and manage annual operating budgets and monitor financial performance.
Oversee preventative maintenance programs and capital improvement projects.
Manage vendor contracts and service providers.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and resort policies.
Prepare operational and financial reports for the Board of Directors.
Attend Board meetings and implement Board-approved initiatives.
Resolve owner and guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Maintain high standards for resort appearance, safety, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3–5 years of management experience in property management, hospitality, resort operations, or a related field.
Experience managing and supervising teams that include office staff, housekeeping, and maintenance employees.
Timeshare experience preferred but not required.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience with budgeting, financial oversight, and vendor management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred but equivalent experience will be considered.
