Waitress/Bartender

Duties:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers

• Take orders from customers and provide recommendations on drink selection

• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience

• Check identification to verify legal drinking age and refuse service to intoxicated or underage individuals

• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down counters, washing glassware, and restocking supplies

• Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately

Experience:

• Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred

• Knowledge of hospitality and customer service principles

• Familiarity with bartending techniques and drink recipes

• Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices

• Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a cash register

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders and tasks simultaneously

Skills:

• Proficient in basic math calculations for measuring ingredients and processing payments

• Knowledge of retail math for inventory management and pricing calculations

• Familiarity with the food industry, including different types of beverages and their ingredients

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for patrons

• Attention to detail to ensure accurate preparation of drinks and proper handling of cash
