Duties:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
Take orders from customers and provide recommendations on drink selection
Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and refuse service to intoxicated or underage individuals
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down counters, washing glassware, and restocking supplies
Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
Experience:
Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred
Knowledge of hospitality and customer service principles
Familiarity with bartending techniques and drink recipes
Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders and tasks simultaneously
Skills:
Proficient in basic math calculations for measuring ingredients and processing payments
Knowledge of retail math for inventory management and pricing calculations
Familiarity with the food industry, including different types of beverages and their ingredients
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for patrons
Attention to detail to ensure accurate preparation of drinks and proper handling of cash
