Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Perform floor care tasks such as mopping and carpet cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Ensure all surfaces are spotless and free of dust or debris
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow established safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding confidentiality and guest privacy
- Assist with additional janitorial or custodial tasks as assigned to support overall hotel operations
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality is preferred, especially in hotel or industrial cleaning environments
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and custodial procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following detailed instructions
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift moderate loads when necessary
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
- Previous experience in housekeeping management is a plus but not mandatory
