BIM Coordinator – Luxury Residential Construction

We are seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to join a well-established luxury residential construction firm. This position will oversee the creation and coordination of fully integrated building models and shop drawings for complex, high-end residential projects.

The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Revit and AutoCAD and understands how structural, architectural, MEP, and millwork components come together in the field. You will work closely with project teams, designers, consultants, vendors, and trade contractors to identify conflicts, coordinate drawings, and ensure accurate construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM coordination across architectural, structural, MEP, millwork, and other trades
• Develop and maintain accurate master Revit models
• Distribute current models and project information to trade partners
• Review models for clashes, inconsistencies, and missing information
• Coordinate the resolution of interferences with project stakeholders
• Produce and revise AutoCAD drawings as needed
• Integrate Revit models with AutoCAD shop and fabrication drawings
• Coordinate drawings with vendors, suppliers, designers, consultants, and contractors
• Review installation drawings for accuracy and constructability before distribution
• Maintain organized BIM files, project documentation, and final as-built drawing sets
• Establish and improve BIM standards, workflows, and quality-control procedures
• Support project teams throughout design, fabrication, construction, and closeout

Qualifications

• Professional experience in BIM coordination within the construction industry
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, building systems, and fabrication processes
• Experience coordinating architectural, structural, MEP, and millwork drawings
• Ability to identify clashes and resolve coordination issues before construction
• Strong organizational and document-management skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, fully coordinated drawings
• Experience with luxury residential construction, custom homes, or detailed interior projects is strongly preferred
