Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Class A CDL Driver located in Charlotte, NC. The Class A CDL Driver will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of dry van shipments across various states. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting vehicles for mechanical issues, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards, maintaining communication with dispatchers, and providing excellent customer service during deliveries and pick-ups.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license and clean driving record
- Experience in long-haul and local driving
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to operate and maintain trucking equipment
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs) is a plus
