Job Summary:
Responsible for performing technical and scientific processes and procedures in a high-
complexity testing CLIA-certified laboratory. This position will require the technologist to master multiple systems, instruments, and methodologies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing molecular-based technical and scientific processes and
procedures in a high-complexity testing CLIA-certified laboratory.
• Perform molecular and immunocytochemistry assays, including tumor cell
enumeration (TCE), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization
(FISH), and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), for clinical, research, and
diagnostic applications.
• Accurately document all testing activities in accordance with laboratory policies and
accreditation requirements. Prepare for and participate in inspections by
accrediting bodies.
• Analyze and evaluate test results in conjunction with quality control data under
supervision. Review and release patient results with appropriate oversight. Assist
colleagues with complex procedures or result interpretation as needed.
• Train and orient new laboratory personnel on procedures, instrumentation, and
workflows
Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
