What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Laboratory Scientist position at CLS Connect?
We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform routine and specialized laboratory assays on patient specimens across all sections of the Clinical Laboratory. As a generalist, you will:
- Independently evaluate the validity of test results before reporting.
- Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
- Communicate with healthcare teams (physicians, pathologists, nursing staff) regarding test procedures and results.
Seeking applicants with at least 2-3 years experience performing micro, including full ID and workups for urine, throat, wound, and blood cultures. Instrumentation includes Microscan DXM 1040 (Walkaway) system, so familiarity with that is highly desired.
- Experience with EPIC system
- Familiarity with Vitros, Unity, and WellSky laboratory systems
- ASCP Specialty certifications
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- BS in Medical Technology
- ASCP - MLS Certification
Monday to Friday - 7am-4pm

Salary : $85,000 - $110,000
