Role 1: Clinical Laboratory Scientist – Histocompatibility (Serology)
In this role, the CLS will perform advanced HLA-related testing within our serological laboratory, supporting both routine and deceased donor transplant workups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform HLA antibody identification, serological crossmatching, and associated testing for transplant evaluations.
- Test, analyze, interpret, and accurately report laboratory results.
- Monitor quality control, identify trends or shifts, and document findings.
- Troubleshoot assays and instrumentation using SOPs and manufacturer resources.
- Serve as an advanced technical resource for fellow CLS team members.
- Perform complex assays and participate in training and competency evaluations for technicians and other CLS personnel.
- Contribute to laboratory projects and take a lead role in mentoring junior staff.
Role 2: Clinical Laboratory Scientist – Donor Testing
We are also hiring CLS professionals to perform donor and patient testing using both automated and complex manual methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical testing and analysis of patient and donor specimens, including highly complex manual assays.
- Validate and record results, ensuring accuracy and compliance with laboratory specifications.
- Apply appropriate control measures and protocols, addressing abnormal results and notifying Supervisors as necessary.
- Maintain inventory, perform routine preventive maintenance, and document all activities.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and escalate instrument issues to senior team members.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of assigned specialty areas.
- Work independently while operating under the supervision of a Supervisor, Director, or designee.
Compensation & Schedule
- Hourly Rate: $65–$72 per hour
- Night Shift Differential: Additional 16% of hourly rate
- Schedule: Night shift, starting at 10:00 PM or 11:00 PM
