We’re looking for a Azure/Snowflake Data Architect to support our team in Leawood, KS. Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect data systems, including databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Define entity relationship diagrams in collaboration with the business intelligence team to align data product designs.
- Develop a framework for how data is modeled, stored, organized, and accessed.
- Establish a common data dictionary to maintain consistency across the organization.
- Collaborate with key business and technology stakeholders to develop and implement data strategies which align with business processes.
- Responsible for ensuring data security and compliance with regulations.
- Review and analyze data infrastructure, identifying data sources and define data management policies.
- Develop and maintain necessary APIs in support of the organization’s application and data requirements.
- Establish a data management plan which introduces consistent and common data architecture with new and existing solutions.
- Accountable for overall health and quality of data solutions, systems and platforms.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with business intelligence team, business stakeholders, and technical staff on-site and in virtual environments.
- Experience with SQL and alternatives such as MySQL
- Experience with Snowflake
- Experience with Azure Data Lake
- Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, or similar products
