What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Electrologist – Laser Hair Removal & Electrolysis (Part-Time) position at CLP Med Spa?

Our medical director, nurse practitioners, medical electrologists, aestheticians and laser technicians work as one team. **About the role**
We're looking for a licensed electrologist to join our hair removal team. You'll perform laser hair removal and traditional electrolysis, including on grey and blonde hair that laser can't treat. Many of our hair removal clients come in for a series of treatments, so you'll get to know them over months and see their results. Precision, a gentle touch and good client care matter as much as technical skill here.
**What you'll do**
- Perform laser hair removal under our medical director's supervision, following our clinical protocols
- Perform electrolysis for clients who aren't good laser candidates, including grey, blonde and fine hair
- Hold consultations: assess skin type and hair, explain options, set expectations and build treatment plans
- Run patch tests, choose device settings, and document every treatment accurately in our patient records system
- Teach clients about pre- and post-treatment care
- Keep treatment rooms and equipment clean and safe, including laser safety procedures
- Recommend related treatments when they fit the client's goals
**What you need**
- **Active Florida electrologist license** in good standing
- **Certified to perform laser/light-based hair removal in Florida**
- Hands-on laser hair removal experience on a range of skin types
- Experience performing electrolysis
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Available to work some Saturdays (our hours: Mon–Fri 10am–7pm, Sat 11am–3pm)
**Nice to have**
- Certified Medical Electrologist (CME) credential
- 2 years of experience in a med spa or dermatology practice
- Experience with additional laser and light treatments (IPL, tattoo removal, Pico, CO2)
