About the Role:
The Box Truck Route Driver is responsible for regularly delivering clean, sanitized containers to clients and collecting used ones and dropping them back to the Brooklyn facility for cleaning.
Shift: Tuesday-Friday,4 days/week - 40 Hours perw week (Job Type: Full-time) | Location: Sarasota, FL

Responsibilities:
- Operate a 26-foot box truck along assigned routes, with flexibility to adjust routes as business needs evolve and new customer accounts are added.
- Deliver and pick up reusable dishware from clients, ensuring timely and professional service.
- Stage, load, and unload deliveries from the box truck with help from Operations team.
- Complete all required delivery documentation and proof of delivery accurately and on time, following established procedures and training guidelines.
- Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition
- Load and unload trucks or vans and help store products in appropriate areas of the store using manual and electric pallet jacks
- Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to management.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining safe, professional, and courteous driving practices that positively represent the company and uphold its brand and reputation.
- Maintains good work habits, including reporting to work on time and adhering to standard work and safety procedures
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management to support business and operational needs.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Note: No CDL license is required
- DOT medical card will be required (can obtain one within 2 weeks of hire date)
- At least 2 years of experience driving a 26ft box truck or straight truck.
- Comfortable with urban and regional delivery routes.
- Must have commercial route experience driving a 26' Box truck.
- Must have experience driving box trucks with air brakes.
- You must also be able to learn a new territory with very little guidance.
- Have customer service & problem-solving skills.
- Must be attentive, motivated, and reliable.
- Confident user of smartphones and mapping apps.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Warehouse, logistics, or kitchen experience is a plus but not required.
- Passion for sustainability and reducing single-use plastics.
- Strong work ethic, flexibility, and eagerness to learn.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and stack items up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
