Cloyes Gear, a manufacturer and distributor of Automotive Timing Drive Systems and Components has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician in the Paris, Arkansas location.
Job Summary: Respond to work orders received which indicate a machine or process that is not working properly. Analyze the situation and make necessary repairs to the machine or process. Read and interpret blueprints or schematics. Repair machine according to blueprints. Perform machining and tooling operations related to the repair of a machine. Complete paperwork and record work performed. Assist in solving problems related to machine set up. Record time worked and parts needed to repair machines or process. Job requires a high level of mobility, including standing, climbing, stooping, lifting, bending, reaching, aerial platform work, and overhead work, to perform the job efficiently. Pay will be dependent on experience.
Requirements: Mechanical aptitude and standard mathematical skills. Read and understand micrometers, blueprints or schematics. Knowledge of machines structure, hydraulics, and basic electricity and plumbing. Basic Plumbing experience, Electrical experience, and computer skills.
High School diploma or GED preferred.
Industrial electrical license preferred but not required.
