What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator position at Clow Stamping Company?
We’re seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to join our Press Room team. As a key member of our production floor, you’ll play a pivotal role in handling and transporting materials, products, tools, and equipment to keep operations running smoothly. Your ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently will help ensure the success of our manufacturing processes while maintaining a high level of accuracy and safety.
What You’ll Do:
- Operate a forklift to transport materials, products, and tools to and from machines as needed.
- Utilize forklift dispatch via a tablet to locate items and manage material movements.
- Retrieve press tools from storage and assist in positioning them within the presses.
- Weigh scrap containers and safely move them to appropriate locations.
- Maintain and change forklift batteries as required.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 6-12 months of forklift experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Forklift Certification from Clow Stamping Company
- Ability to work with various machine operators, leads, and supervisors, ensuring clear communication and efficiency
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Shift: 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Thursday (shift 15)
